I used to think that it was difficult to make "Souffle", but it could get easier once we know the basic techniques which construct "Souffle".
That's it, I think!
The ingredients are always in my fridge or in a cupboard so there is no excuse not to have a go.
Eggs, Milk, Flour and Butter!
Of course, we can add other ingredients like I did to make it more delicious and exciting.
I always grow parsley in my green house, so that goes in. I found some hot smoked salmon in the freezer, so that goes in.
For the seasoning, salt (not too much as the smoked salmon could be quite salty), pepper, grated lemon zest and horseradish.
I added some Parmesan Cheese, but it can be any other cheese.
When you'd like to cook souffle, you must tell your family that you'll be making it so that they are ready to eat it as soon as it's ready and when it's in the oven, tell the family again that you are going to eat it VERY SOON. At the same time, have your plates, drinks and your table ready as it will go flat soon after it comes out of the oven which looks sad.
When we take it out, it looks very appetizing and no one will think that it's a very economical dish! It certainly made me feel very hungry when I saw it when I took it out of the oven.
It's a beautiful dish which needs a bit of an effort making it, but it's worth it.
Could this be a nice challenge for the long weekend?

Let's make some granola!
Open your cupboard and see if you have;
Preheat the oven at 150℃ and prepare the baking tray.
Put oats and nuts, seeds in a large bowl.
Heat 2 tbs of olive oil and 60 g of maple syrup in a pan and pour into the bowl to mix.
Tip over the mixture to the baking tray and spread evenly.
Bake for 10 minutes. Then add dried fruits, coconut flakes and bake further 15 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and leave to cool.
Once cool, put them in a air tight container.
You can adjust the quantity of maple syrup if you like it sweeter.
How easy is that!
The good thing is that your cupboard is now tidier and you've got some delicious granola of your own choice!
Nearly 5 pm on Sunday and what shall I cook for dinner? It could be a housewife's nightmare!
Well, making pizza dough is just as easy as making a phone call to "Pizza XX" and it tastes so delicious that we can't stop eating it.
Here is my recipe:
Mix the ingredients and knead the dough until smooth.
Keep the dough in a greased bowl until it's double in size. (if you are in a hurry, keep it in a warmer place.)
In the meantime, heat your oven to the highest temperature with a pizza stone or other oven sheet.
Take the dough out of the bowl on to the floured surface and divide into three.
Make them into balls and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Use a rolling pin to roll out the each dough until it's thin.
Put any toppings- tomato sauce, cheese, ham, mushrooms, olives etc. and bake them in a very hot oven.

The farmer leaves the most fresh eggs on a day and anyone wants them can just put the money in the box.
The tricky thing is though we don't know how many eggs and what time they are placed in the cage.
We just have to go and see!
Does it really matter unless you are so desperate to get the eggs? Then we can drive to a supermarket to get mass-produced eggs instead. (Could be free range, but I don't know how they are!)
Well, there are so much more to the country life.
The time goes by more slowly than the city life and we enjoy being in the fresh air learn to appreciate what's around us.
We must not forget that the farmer trusts us and we do the same for them by putting the money in a box.
Many of us could learn something nice about the human nature from this egg cage.
This is the Easter weekend and "Hot Cross Buns" were freshly baked at my kitchen. They filled my kitchen with the beautiful aroma of cinnamon and orange. They are delicious and are not too difficult to bake once you know the basic method of bread making.
They are sold at supermarkets so why do I bake my own?
I can put any dried fruits I like, can adjust the sugar quantity and can put more cinnamon and so on. Yes, I know exactly what goes into my bread!
The best thing for me is that I love the process of bread making which takes time, but the end result is just wonderful. Waiting for the dough to rise and thinking that I'll share my bread with my family and friends make me very happy.
No shop bought bread can beat the taste of freshly home baked ones at any level.
